Production Supervisor Overview: Green Bay Packaging continues to grow and has an exciting opportunity for a Production Supervisor at its newly built manufacturing plant in Aurora, Illinois. The operation consists of a 74,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility with hot melt adhesive coaters and slitting machines. We operate two shifts, 5 days a week with approximately 30 hourly employees. Job Responsibilities: The Production Supervisor will be responsible for the organization and leadership of the production environment, working with manufacturing management to build an atmosphere committed to superior quality and service. The primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to safety, quality, training, teamwork, and productivity. The production supervisor will oversee activities directly relating to the making of products within the plant. The supervisor will provide direction, vision, and employee development through training. Responsible for establishing and maintaining plans to ensure continued development of the work environment. Monitor safety and environmental programs. Manage staff, prepare work schedules and assign specific duties. Help to establish and implement policies, goals, and objectives. Qualifications:
In addition, a certification in Certified Maintenance & Reliability (CMRP) and Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is preferred but not required.
