ExamWorksis seeking a driven professional with abackground in mergers & acquisitions (M&A)to join the team as aGlobal Development Associate!

The ideal location would be out of theAtlanta, GA officewith someflexibility to work remotely (3-4 days in the office per week).

The Global Corporate Development Associate is a highly visible role supporting global acquisitions, partnerships, growth-focused strategic initiatives, and investor relations. This role works closely with senior executive leadership and partners with national and international business unit leadership to establish strategic growth strategy, execute on M&A and other growth initiatives, and expand global capabilities. This role offers the unique opportunity to work on full-cycle transactions - including evaluating strategic growth initiatives, investment opportunities executing on strategic and tuck-in acquisitions, partnerships, and supporting post-merger integration initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS



  • Lead financial modeling and valuation analyses to forecast deal economics and support decision-making.
  • Manage due diligence logistics, coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders (legal, finance, operations), maintain data rooms, and track transaction timelines.
  • Prepare investor updates, executive-level presentations, and board materials summarizing strategic rationale, transaction analysis, and integration plans.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify acquisition and partnership opportunities aligned with global strategic goals.
  • Support integration planning and execution, design and monitor performance KPIs of acquired entities, and collaborate with FP&A and business leaders to assess synergies.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed to support ongoing market research, capital strategy, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 2-5 years of M&A, due diligence and/or driving strategic growth initiatives
  • A background in investment banking, M&A, strategy consulting, transaction advisory or private equity highly preferred
  • Exceptional financial modeling and data analytics skills coupled with the ability to translate work product into effectivepresentations and other forms of executive level communications
  • Must be able to travel as required
  • Experience in the healthcare services, business services or the insurance industry preferred but not required
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail and work ethic with the ability to prioritize and follow through on numerous projects at once
  • Must be comfortable with digital tools and business systems, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality
