Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Shipping & Receiving team members to join our 2nd shift. This role is critical in ensuring smooth and efficient flow of materials and products in and out of our facility. The Shipping & Receiving Team Member will handle truck scheduling with third-party carriers, prepare shipping and receiving documentation, manage load building and inventory accuracy, and ensure timely customer deliveries while minimizing freight costs.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented multitasker with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately receive materials into inventory and perform system transactions.
  • Unload, store, and stage materials in proper locations.
  • Build and stage loads; load outbound trucks to meet delivery dates and specifications.
  • Prepare and complete shipping transactions, bills of lading, and export paperwork.
  • Monitor and coordinate inbound/outbound truck flow for efficiency.
  • Communicate with internal departments and outside carriers to resolve shipping/receiving issues.
  • Train and mentor other shipping/receiving employees.
  • Support plant operations by transporting materials between facilities, as needed.
  • Conduct in-process monitoring, inspections, and required documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience & Skills

  • 2-5 years prior shipping/receiving experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory control processes.
  • Proficient forklift and material handling skills.
  • Basic math skills for verifying receipt and shipment quantities.
  • Working knowledge of PC and Windows systems (Oracle training available).
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving paperwork, system transactions, and export compliance.
  • Ability to train and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Previous experience with MRO stocking and issuing preferred.
  • 6+ months of material handling experience or equivalent knowledge.
  • Standard safety training and commitment to safe work practices.


* Dependable transportation is required. Public transportation and/or walking are not suitable options due to safety regulations.
