Clinical Research Coordinator EM-General-Core Full Time 85904BR Job Summary The Clinical Research Coordinator will work with faculty, fellows and residents to organize and participate in all operational aspects of ongoing clinical and health services research in Emergency Medicine. Working under the supervision of the Principal Investigators, the position's duties include enrolling patients in clinical studies, data entry and management, biospecimen collection and processing, attending and documenting the proceedings at relevant meetings, and preparing grant proposals and reports, peer-reviewed manuscripts, and abstracts. Additional duties will include completion of regulatory documents, Institutional Review Board applications, revisions and reports, and other duties as assigned. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $34.32 - $55.19 (Hourly Rate). Areas of existing research expertise within our new department already include cardiac arrest, pre-hospital EMS care (including strokediagnosis and management), ultrasound diagnostic techniques, health policy (especially ED crowding, ambulance diversion, utilization of the ED by indigents, and health disparities), procedural sedation, infectious disease management.
