Pay Range: $22.73 $28.41 / hour (Minimum to Midpoint)

About the Role

We are seeking a Laboratory Support Services Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our laboratory support team at Gulf Coast Medical Center. In this role, you will provide leadership and guidance to lab assistants and other non-licensed staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery that meets patient, staff, and regulatory expectations.

What You Will Do

• Supervise, mentor, and develop lab support staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Serve as the primary resource and point of contact for lab assistants and support staff.
• Ensure orientation, ongoing training, and competency assessments are delivered effectively.
• Collaborate with laboratory leadership to develop and implement Support Services procedures.
• Identify and drive improvements in efficiency, performance, and cost containment.
• Maintain compliance with all accreditation standards, state, and federal regulations.
• Foster a culture of safety, service excellence, and teamwork while ensuring the highest quality patient experience.

Two years formal education or training after high school or Associates Degree

Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Requires good time management skills and ability to solve problems.
