Systems Engineer

IT Infrastructure Team

This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), remote contract role. Candidates must be located in the U.S. and work standard CST hours (Monday-Friday, ~8:00-5:00 CST).

We're seeking a Systems Engineer to provide project support for critical infrastructure transition initiatives. This role will partner closely with a Senior Engineer to document integrations, support migrations, and ensure seamless connectivity across platforms. The position is designed to help alleviate capacity constraints, accelerate critical transition work, and provide technical support across Microsoft and Google ecosystems.

  5+ years of experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft platforms (Microsoft 365, Exchange, collaboration tools)

  
  
• 
  

  Background in migrations and integrations across ecosystems

  
  
• 
  

  Skilled in mail, calendar, and collaboration tools setup and support

  
  
• 
  

  Experience providing training and end-user support for new tools strongly preferred

  
  
• 
  

  Familiar with project management practices, prioritization, and written communication with stakeholders

  
  
• 
  

  Able to work collaboratively with senior engineers while managing individual responsibilities

  
  
• 
  

  Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a support role while maintaining high attention to detail

  
  

In this role, you will support ongoing infrastructure transition projects with a focus on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange, and Google Workspace. You'll partner with a Senior Engineer to:

  Identify and document system connections and integrations

  Assist in planning and executing migration efforts

  Support documentation and process improvement across mail, calendar, and collaboration platforms

  Provide end-user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new tools

  Help expedite critical project timelines and alleviate workload from senior team members

  
  

You'll play a key role in ensuring the team meets transition goals while maintaining operational stability.

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

  
  
• 
  

  5+ years of experience in Microsoft and Google platform engineering and support

  
  
• 
  

  Prior experience supporting enterprise migrations and integrations

  
  
• 
  

  Background in project support or project management desirable

  
  

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $56.81-$60.47 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
