Description

The Strategic Financial Analyst will dive into some of the company's most important projects-ranging from operational improvements and growth strategies to M&A, pricing, and revenue analysis. You will report to the CEO and partner closely with the C-suite and our private equity sponsor, building a rare blend of executive exposure and hands-on analytical execution early in your career while being mentored by and learning from an experienced CEO and management team. We're looking for analytical monsters-people who love Excel, think in numbers, and can dissect data to uncover insights others miss. If you're intellectually curious, highly driven, and thrive when tackling and learning complex business challenges, this role is built for you. Position will be based in Ohio.

Key Responsibilities:

* Leads deep-dive financial and operational analyses to inform key strategic decisions.

* Drives operational improvement, pricing, product mix, and revenue optimization initiatives.

* Supports M&A activities, including market research, financial modeling, valuation, and integration analysis.

* Builds and maintains advanced Excel-based models and dynamic dashboards to track KPIs and performance trends.

* Prepares and delivers financial reports for the C-suite, banks, and private equity ownership.

* Partners cross-functionally to identify and execute operational improvement opportunities.

* Conducts market and competitor analysis to identify new growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.

* 0-3 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, consulting, or a high-performance FP&A/analytical role.

* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills-comfortable building robust, dynamic models from scratch.

* Natural intellectual curiosity and a relentless drive to dig into the details to find answers.

* Exceptional analytical ability-able to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.

* Strong communication skills with the confidence to present to senior executives.

* Highly organized, resourceful, and self-directed.
