Full Time 40 hours/week Day shift onsite Summary:The Senior Nursing Workforce Development and Retention Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating strategies to recruit, develop, and retain a diverse, high-performing nursing workforce. This role works collaboratively with nursing leadership, human resources, professional development, and external partners to address staffing needs, career advancement pathways, employee engagement, and retention efforts. The Senior Nursing Workforce Development and Retention Specialist collaborates with a team dedicated to workforce planning, professional development, and employee engagement initiatives to ensure a stable and satisfied nursing workforce. Responsibilities:

Education and Experience * Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required. * Certification: Registered Nurse licensure is required; BLS certification is required. Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) or related field required. * Years of relevant experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in leadership, workforce development, and/or nursing professional development required. * Years of experience supervising: none.
