The Design Technology group is looking to hire a Business Process Analyst III to join their team in Lenexa, KS. The Business Process Analyst III is a senior-level individual contributor within the specialized Applications team responsible for leading improvement initiatives and advancing the use of digital tools across multiple disciplines or sectors. This role acts as a trusted advisor and change agent by using data, feedback, and workflow insights to align tools with real-world business and project goals. Analysts at this level contribute to platform rollout strategy, mentor others, and facilitate cross-functional conversations that drive scalable change and value.



Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, design technology, or a related field preferred with 6 or more years of typical total experience, or 9 or more years of experience without a degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise or design platforms - with demonstrated proficiency as a platform expert in at least one core system (e.g., Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform.)
  • Strong experience leading tool improvement initiatives or platform rollouts.
  • Expertise in workflow documentation, process improvement, and user engagement.
  • Demonstrated success influencing stakeholders across departments or project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience developing or adapting automation using tools such as Dynamo, Python, or Power Automate - with the ability to guide others in applying them to real-world workflows.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certifications encouraged but not required (Autodesk, Microsoft Power Platform, Bluebeam, ClickUp).



Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:



  • Analyzes workflows across disciplines and propose system improvements.
  • Uses data, feedback, and hands-on engagement to identify high-impact change opportunities.
  • Supports the business case for process improvements or tool enhancements.
  • Serves as an advanced resource for technical tool questions and best practices.
  • Leads refinement of templates, standards, and automation across platforms.
  • Guides technical troubleshooting processes and long-term fixes.
  • Facilitates working groups to align tools with team needs across sectors or disciplines.
  • Serves as a key voice in planning conversations and project strategy sessions.
  • Aligns platform functionality with project delivery goals and business priorities.


  • Leads user feedback efforts and translate insights into actionable platform improvements.
  • Drives evaluation and testing of new tools and features.
  • Collaborates with vendor partners and internal stakeholders on lifecycle planning.
  • Develops and manage application inventory and owns the creation and maintenance of templates, scripts, and automations.
  • Leads adoption efforts for new or updated platforms, including training development and communication plans.
  • Delivers presentations and workshops that help teams embrace change.
  • Contributes to change campaigns and ongoing engagement strategies.
  • Mentors junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Leads collaborative efforts to scope projects and define success metrics.
  • Models consultative leadership by building trust through clarity, reliability, and delivery.
