JOB FUCTION AND SCOPE
This Maintenance Technician role supports manufacturing operations onsite in Milwaukee, WI. The Maintenance Technician supports production personnel by maintaining equipment through preventive measures and troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical devices. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.Diagnose, Repair, and Install of Machine components. (40%) Daily engagement with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electric systems for production and building equipment. This will be accomplished utilizing direct evaluation, blueprints, equipment manuals, and other OEM specifications and OEM support to eliminate equipment downtime. 2.Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance. (30%) Maintain part inventory and perform regularly scheduled lubrication and mechanical maintenance on building, foundry, machining, polishing, plating, injection molding, and building equipment. 3.Contractor and Engineering Engagement. (20%) Work with contractors and plant support staffing to maintain schedule adherence for new systems and OEM updates. Work with the Engineering team to develop new systems and machinery to eliminate waste on the production floor. 4.All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Required: High school diploma or equivalent Coursework toward Journeyman Maintenance Mechanic Technology or two years of work experience Industrial equipment repair exposure within a manufacturing environment Experience and/or training with Microsoft Office Preferred: Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance Studies PLC / automation exposure |
