Job Description

Seeking a Functional Analyst (SME) with expertise in Army aviation hardware/software and system-of-systems integration in aircraft and lab environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Subject Matter Expert-Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making or resource allocation.
• Advise and provide support to Army laboratories; support includes architecture development, demonstration activities, and technology integration.
• Conduct analysis of current lab functionality, develop courses of action for capability enhancement, and oversee integration with current laboratory capabilities.
• Support demonstration and experimentation Integrated Product Team activities through coordinating, planning, and executing efforts and providing briefings to senior Army leaders.
• Develop statements of work and manage execution of demonstration and experimentation efforts.
• Interfaces with aviation enterprise stakeholders in commercial, government, and academia sectors to understand and seek opportunities to inform PMs and demonstrate new and emerging capabilities.
• Analyze emerging technologies and capabilities for suitability for integration on Army aircraft.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent. 10+ years of related Operations Research experience.
• Experience in aviationoperations, networking, system integration, avionics, and Army aviation mission systems.
• Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Experience coordinating, planning, and executing lab based and operational level aviation related events involving multiple stakeholders centered around demonstration of new/emerging technologies and addressing capability gaps.
• Experience with networking hardware and software for Army applications.
• Experience integrating COTS and MCOTS technology on Army aircraft
• Detail-oriented with solid writing skills
• Ability to successfully comprehend and adhere to technical and operational standards/processes.
• Must be able to effectively interact with Government customers and contractors from Action Officer to Senior level.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Subject Matter Expertise in military aircraft avionics and communications
• Experience with Army Command and Control (C2), tactical networks, and operations across echolons
• Experience managing complex aviation integration and modernization projects
