Transaction Coordinator

As the Transaction Coordinator you will help ensure the accuracy of inventory and production transactions across PPG's paint and Waterborne plants. You will support the operation by investigating and resolving transaction errors, managing inventory-related resources, and facilitating continuous improvement programs. Reporting directly to the Scheduling & Inventory Control Supervisor you will collaborate with planning, production, and warehouse teams to correct errors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete and close production batches.

  • Investigate and resolve inventory and transaction discrepancies.

  • Manage label and pallet ordering and inventory for paint and Waterborne plants.

  • Correct receiving transaction issues and ensure documentation.

  • Use Oracle for inventory transactions and troubleshooting.

  • Participate in process improvement workshops and programs.

  • Help build the annual physical inventory.

  • Facilitate cycle count activities and create related reports.

  • Support operators, supervisors, and managers with transaction-related needs.

  • Maintain quick reference guides for transaction processes.

  • Report daily production goals for completed and closed batches.

  • Help with warehouse organization and improvement projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree.

  • 2+ years of experience in inventory control, production coordination, or related field.

  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems.

  • Experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
