Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer - Programmer is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC machine programs to support efficient and high-quality production operations. In addition to programming, the engineer will oversee tooling selection, setup, and lifecycle management to support machining processes. The Manufacturing Engineer - Programmer will work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure manufacturing efficiency, tooling reliability, and product conformity. Job Duties
Educational Requirements High school diploma is required. An associates degree in machining technology or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred. Experience Requirements A minimum of 15 years of experience in creating and maintaining CNC programming and machining processes. At least five of those years must involve managing programming for 30+ CNC machines. Licenses/Certifications Mastercam Multi-Axis or Core Certification is preferred. Six Sigma Black belt certification is preferred. Working Conditions Typical office environment with some travel between buildings and to other locations required. May be exposed to loud noises, toxic chemicals, and dangerous machinery when on the plant floor. Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
