Main Duties & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
Set up and operate various threadroll machines for
manufacturing precision aircraft quality fasteners.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies: Include the
following. Other duties may be assigned.
Be able
to use and set all gages, micrometers, calipers, plug and ring gages,
comparator and microscope
Understands
threadroll part feature terminology
Read and
interpret part drawings, work instructions, process control procedures,
policies and procedures
Be able
to use the necessary measuring tools
Recognizes
improper machine functioning and takes action to report any safety concerns
Perform
first piece verification process per part print and do loaf pan inspections
Perform
daily 5S on work area and equipment and understands lean principles
Perform
preventative maintenance daily at shift start
Able to
lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Good
communication skill and know basic shop math
Pass
production stamp test
Understands
QMS
Be able
to complete transactions in Shop-Trak accurately
Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all
units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Blueprint Reading:
Learn to read and understand
blueprints.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree
(GED). 0-6 months experience in
threadrolling aircraft quality fasteners on various types of threadroll
machines; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or
hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms
and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or
move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this
job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust
focus.
Compensation
2nd shift differential
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $19.00 - $29.86.
Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
