SUMMARY: Treasury Solutions provides a suite of products used by Commercial Banking customers to manage cash and encompasses Product Management, Sales, Servicing, Implementation, Merchant Services and Commercial Card teams. The Treasury Solutions (TS) Risk Manager leads identifying and assessing risk and controls, evaluating control effectiveness and establishing risk mitigation action plans associated with the Treasury Solutions suite of products and processes. Facilitates effective communication between the business, the 2nd & 3rd line. Provides advisory services to manage risks. Implements risk management policies and procedures and monitors their effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
- Aids businesses in identifying risks & control gaps.
- Leads tracking and resolution of issues, ensuring timely escalation and remediation.
- Collaborates with business and stakeholders to develop and execute on Issue action plans and mitigation strategies to address root causes & prevent recurrence.
- Leads tracking and resolution of issues, ensuring timely escalation and remediation.
- Coordinates with other functions (i.e. Compliance, 2LOD) to ensure alignment with broader risk management and governance objectives.
- Maintains and utilizes a deep understanding of the complexities inherent in the organization's business environment, including industry markets, products, services, client-based and competitive landscape.
- Interpret and operationalize 2nd line requirements for business area.
- Participates in Internal Audit inquiries, examinations, and audits in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Monitors business risk and control performance.
- Supports the execution and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls in alignment with the Company's risk management framework.
- Partner with the business to identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and reduce risk.
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises function, projects or services and/or one or more employees, as applicable.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance coaching; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years in business risk and control role, audit role, second line Operational Risk role, payment operations role, or Tres
- 4-6 years in Treasury Management/Solutions or payment operations lead role
