Summary of Role:

The Associate Manager, Lead Architect, Process Optimization is crucial for supporting enterprise transformation projects and leading HBP Continuous Improvement initiatives. This global role involves collaborating and facilitating with various stakeholders to support transformation and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives based on enterprise's strategic vision through Six Sigma, Lean Sigma, Agile Methodologies using advanced technologies where possible (e.g. AI Prompts, AI Agents).

Key responsibilities include:




  • Leading Process Mapping, Gap Analysis, and Systems Thinking (Process Redesign) to optimize end-to-end business processes across multiple functions.



  • Develop and implement improvement strategies using data-driven insights, automation tools and emerging technologies



  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate issues and day-to-day pain points into executable improvements using technology where possible.



  • Establish governance and performance metrics to monitor and sustain improvements





Additionally, the Associate Manager, Lead Architect, Process Optimization will handle core process optimization tasks such as stakeholder management, resource allocation, schedule and budget management, quality and risk management, and change management.

Role Responsibilities:

Discovery and Design



  • Client Discovery and Requirements Gathering: Understanding client needs and translating them into actionable requirements. Eliciting, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
  • Process Mapping: Visualizing current processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Process Design and Optimization: Designing and refining workflows for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Process/Task Mining: Using tools to analyze how work is performed and identify automation opportunities.


Strategy and Insights



  • Data Analysis and Insights: Interpreting data to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Project Management: Planning, executing, and monitoring projects to meet goals on time and within scope.
  • Governance: Sustain established frameworks and continuously seek improvement to the Process Optimization Team ways of working.


Change Management and Communication



  • Stakeholder Management: Working with stakeholder to ensure goals are met; includes communication, collaboration, storytelling and other skills to ensure collogues of all levels
  • Change Management: Guiding individuals and organizations through change with structured approaches.



Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:



  1. Advanced Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement methodologies: Greenbelt Certified (required)
  2. Story telling for influence: Ability to liaise with senior level external supplier and internal stakeholder representatives in a rational and measured manner to communicate progress, issues, risks, and solutions.
  3. Knowledgeable in Advanced Technologies, such as AI Prompts, Prompt Build/Design, Prompt Optimization. Experience in generating optimization events using technology is ideal. Ability to use Microsoft Copilot (or similar platforms) on a daily basis is expected.
  4. Proven experience driving results and driving quality deliverables.



Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:



  • Education -

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related fields, i.e. Finance (ideally with CI or Kaizen event experience).
    • Green Belt Certification, mandatory


  • Experience -


    • 5 years of experience in facilitating design thinking, process mapping activities, leading Kaizen events and Continuous Improvement sprints; 2 years of which is focused in successfully delivering high quality solutions as a lead optimizer/sr. architect in high pressure, structured environments using Six Sigma, Lean or Design Thinking Methodologies


    • At least 2 years of functional areas of expertise in Order To Cash, Record To Report (preferred)
