Position Title: Product Data Specialist
Wage: $17-$18/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 8am-5pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Product Data Specialist for a company in Springfield, MO. The Product Data Specialist supports merchandising and digital operations by ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of product data across ERP (D365), PIM, and Ecommerce platforms. This role is critical to enabling seamless product setup, digital readiness, and customer-facing content for online and other sales channels. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Product Data Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Create and maintain item records including SKUs, descriptions, specifications, attributes, images, and classifications in D365 and PIM systems - Collaborate with Category Managers, Product Coordinators, and vendors to enrich product content and ensure digital readiness - Validate and reconcile data against vendor sheets, product samples, and internal standards - Audit product content regularly to identify and correct missing, inconsistent, or outdated data - Support new product introductions, line extensions, and product lifecycle updates - Maintain taxonomy and categorization standards to support SEO and customer navigation online - Assist with bulk data imports/exports and Excel-based data transformation tasks - Coordinate with IT and Master Data teams to ensure data alignment across systems and support automation initiatives - Participate in product content governance and continuous improvement efforts Product Data Specialist Requirements: - Must have a high school diploma/GED - 2+ years of experience in product data entry, merchandising operations, or digital content management - Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CSV-based data workflows - Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365) and/or PIM platforms (e.g., Salsify, Informatica) - Experience in B2B distribution, manufacturing, or retail preferred - Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms and digital merchandising preferred - Understanding of SEO principles and digital product presentation preferred - Ability to interpret product specifications and attributes - Detail-oriented and highly organized - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks - Process-driven with a continuous improvement mindset - Ability to sit in a cubicle all day and enter numbers into systems QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
