Position Title: Material Handler
Wage: $21.50/hour + $2.00 Shift Premium = $23.50/hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 3:00PM - 11:00PM (Monday - Friday) Join us as a Material Handler in Plymouth, WI and be part of a dynamic team where every shift brings new challenges and rewards. Material Handler Responsibilities: - Receives raw material, unloads trailers and records transactions using a data collection device - Stages customer orders using a data collection device utilizing FIFO principles - Ensure regulatory compliance, including truck sealing and temperature recording - Moves finished products to warehouse and verify the proper amount of finished goods were scanned - Records all information on raw material as it is brought into the Feed Room and verifies that it is cleared for use on foreign materials check list - Operates pallet stacker for vertical stacking of product in coolers - Inspects all incoming and outbound loads to ensure product quality standards are met - Picks and loads customer orders onto trailers - Operates stretch wrapper - Transports chemical barrels and containers - Receives records and distributes inbound package shipments - Uses cleaning materials for sanitation processes - Completes all paperwork associated with essential job functions Requirements for Material Handler: - High school diploma or general education (GED) and 3-6 months of prior relevant manufacturing experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience - Able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs - 50% of the shift - Able to stand for duration of shift - Able to work in a fast-paced and repetitive environment - Able to work independently and with others - Able to read, write, speak and understand English - Able to work in hot or cold environments QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
