Location Profile:

Located in North Hollywood, CA, Avibank Manufacturing, Inc., a PCC Company, a part of the Engineered Products Group, is among the world's leading manufacturers specializing in the design and production of sophisticated fasteners and multi-component fastening systems and devices, solving difficult engineering and critical performance problems.


Position Summary:

Building upon level one, with minimal assistance, level two painters will demonstrate practical working knowledge of part preparation, paint mixing and conventional paint spray equipment setup and maintenance. Level two painters shall demonstrate the ability to apply common water and solvent reducible corrosion resistant epoxy primers using conventional and HVLP equipment in pressure, siphon and gravity fed variants. Level two painters shall have received classroom and /or practical experience with regard to NESHAP Operator Certification Training IAW 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH. Relevant training/testing as necessary to ensure compliance shall be provided. Typically, 1-2 years of experience.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepares product for processing through paint booth i.e. racking, sanding.
  • Demonstrate practical working knowledge of part preparation
  • Paint mixing and conventional paint spray equipment setup and maintenance.
  • Demonstrate the ability to apply common water and solvent reducible corrosion resistant epoxy primers.
  • Ability to train level one painters.

Required Experience:

1 to 2 year experience in industry or related field.

Level of Education:

High school diploma/GED equivalent required.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $21.00 to $31.50 US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
