Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma's platform helps teams bring ideas to life-whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!

As a Business Systems Architect you will be an integral part of designing and building out Figma's Financial systems landscape. You'll be joining a small team so will have a broad purview over the different Accounting functions, and will have a specific focus on the Order-to-Cash and Revenue workstream. The company is growing fast so the need to revamp, rebuild, and expand our technology infrastructure will be an unending source of exciting projects. Outside of direct projects this is also a great opportunity to join the team at an early stage and help us define how a best-in-class business systems team should operate!

This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:

  • Build and provide ongoing system architecture and design reviews to ensure our Order-to-Cash processes are best in class
  • Identify opportunities for configuration, integration, and process improvements across the Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition space
  • Align cross-functional teams on technical requirements and goals with regards to ERP functionalities and activities
  • Design and implement software solutions to increase automation, reduce risk, and create scalability
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, as well as provide input on the team's recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and hiring decisions
  • Provide occasional support in expanding and troubleshooting systems outside of the Order-to-Cash space, such as Zip, Expensify, Tesorio, Numeric, and Bank of America CashPro
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on NetSuite ERP and provide end user training and support for our ERP and other ancillary Financial systems

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 7+ years experience working with accounting teams in a fast growth environment, ideally with strong NetSuite administration experience
  • Direct experience leading a major system implementation or rollout
  • A solid understanding of Accounting principles and processes
  • Experience supporting ancillary Accounting systems (TripActions, Bank of America, Zip or Coupa, etc.)
  • A balanced skill set that can wear the hats of a business analyst, project manager, and technical systems analyst
  • A passion for helping teams scale and grow through the use of technology

While not required, it's an added plus if you also have:

  • Consulting experience in systems implementation or integrations
  • Experience supporting Stripe, Avalara, or Tesorio

At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you're excited about this role but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
