People Advisor

The People Advisor executes core People Operations in the location assigned including employee changes or updates, document management, and reporting. The People Advisor responds to HR-related requests and helps colleagues and leaders with find proper resources to address their needs. They provide employee care at the site and educate them on the Service Delivery Model, effectively handle Workday cases, help with escalations as needed & be a point of contact on resolving routine employee queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to HR procedures, practices, directives, systems and regulations within an assigned set of countries.
  • Support HR community with administrative and executional tasks requiring face to face employee interaction i.e. wet signatures from employees, tasks related to frontline employees.
  • Administrative tasks related to benefits administration, L&D, recruitment, payroll vendor coordination when needed, especially in the countries where there's no dedicated role supporting these functional areas.
  • Solve HR queries online (Chat with PA), on the phone or queries on case management-Irrespective of site. On-Site (floor walks at least twice a day).
  • Support training & change management activities, especially for frontline employees.
  • Support on deployment of projects.
  • Manage case resolutions (opening, updating, escalating as needed, resolving and closing).
  • Provide general HR support to employees around the employee life cycle and provide guidance on HR knowledge content, such as global & local HR policies, How-To, etc.
  • Guide employees and leaders in using self-service in Workday and other HR systems.
  • Manage HR data quality and perform transactions in Workday and other HR systems.
  • Prepare and handle HR documentation.
  • Coordinate and administer onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Conduct new hire orientation.
  • Execute required uploads/changes on the performance forms in the system.
  • Handle documents, i.e. physical archiving of employee documents where legally required, statutory filing of local documents, etc.
  • Perform workforce scheduling, and administers time and leave data entry for blue collar population.
  • Collect company properties during exit & terminations 18. Work closely with People partnering & Hub PAs.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3-5 years' experience in an HR role; 3-5 years' experience in a customer-facing service role and an interest in pursuing a career in HR in lieu of HR experience
  • High School Diploma required; degree in Human Resources or similar and knowledge of HR concepts preferred.
  • Experience working with HR systems, Workday preferred.
  • Solid communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with managing conflict and handling customer complaints
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Skilled in identifying needs, investigating options, seeking solutions and collaborating with others to resolve issues.
  • Ability initiative, manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Closure orientation and low tolerance for delays and deviations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job Type:Full Time

This role requires to be On-Site 5 days per week and may provide remote support to other sites within the region.

Salary:

$24/hr - $28/hr*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
