SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Clerk will be responsible to provide the necessary support to On Board Services Managers, ARASA Supervisors, Services and Staff. Respnsible to interrelate with all levels of senior management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  • Must be highly organized and possess the ability to work productively.
  • Oversee and coordinate all clerical functions for the clerks on the division.
  • Responsible for invoice processing through E-Trax system.
  • Responsible for the timely distribution of correspondence, reports, WMS Payroll data entry and Time Claims.
  • Oversee the office file system and records management in accordance with Amtrak retention policies.
  • Must maintain confidentiality of data.
  • Assist in Special Projects as assigned.
  • Must possess superior organizational, communcation and administrative skills and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Must have capacity of initiating and drafting replies to a wide variety of business correspondence.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required to attend meetings and other various functions.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have administration or clerical background.
  • Must either own a position with demonstrated Microsoft Word and Excel skills or have passed a Word/Excelqualification test, administered via SHL online platform (Talent Central) demonstrating sufficient skills in this software.
  • Must be capable of overseeing clerical forces and have strong supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency with Power Point, CICSPROD, SAP, LMS, Arrow, WMS, MERS, TDRS, and Outlook is preferred.



The hourly rate is$30.65 -$40.87(with opportunity for increases, as per the applicable collective bargaining agreement,after beginning employment).
