Your Opportunity as the Sales Analyst-East Team (US Retail Sales-Coffee, Frozen Handheld, & Spreads)

Location: Orrville, Ohio-Corporate Office

Work Arrangements: Hybrid - on-site a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires

In this role you will:

• Assist East Sales Team in supporting Brand and sales growth objectives
  • Analyze business using retailer specific & Syndicated data
  • Develop analysis that will be leveraged to grow JM Smucker sales at key customers
  • Perform weekly and monthly reporting
  • Support Sales team with Joint Business Planning, Line Reviews, New Item tracking, & adhoc requests
  • Develop recommendations with respect to product distribution, promotion, pricing, and shelf-placement
  • Prepare clear and concise analyses & presentations utilizing data storytelling & visualizations
  • Assist sales team with forecasting & trade promotion planning for plan optimization
• Conduct market visits that include:
  • Sales meetings
  • Retail audits
  • Account calls
  • Business planning sessions
  • Information & technology training
• Work with Category Management on special projects
• Participate in training activities to enhance job performance and personal growth

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Demonstrated strength in written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated to learn and proactively share insights and recommendations
• Ability to quickly adapt to additional internal support systems.
• Syndicated sales data software experience (IRI/Nielsen)
• Strong analytical skills

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

• Experience in Tableau or other data visualization tools
• Ability to relocate for future growth opportunities
