Manager - Operations - Commercial Vehicles - Americas

Pay: $22/hr

Join Avis Bugdet Group as a Commercial Vehicles Operations Manager and take the lead in optimizing fleet performance and profitability. In this role, you'll drive operational excellence through strategic fleet positioning, cost control, and exceptional service delivery, ensuring every vehicle is ready to meet customer needs.

What You'll Do:

• Effectively manage dealers and company assets to achieve maximum revenue and utilization while adhering to all cost saving objectives
• Utilize key business drivers such as revenue, revenue per unit, utilization, and transactions to position fleet for maximum return
• Schedule and prioritize daily runs to fulfill reservations, communicate placement of reservations, and directly assist customers in resolving inquiries and work to resolve any potential inventory fulfillment issues
• Leverage information systems to optimize maintenance scheduling and PM currency and communicate maintenance performance deficiencies with appropriate field management
• Identify and move all trucks designated for disposal from the active fleet
• Monitor daily inventory requirements, transfer service performance, cost and driver quality

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma, plus 2 years of supervisory experience and 2 years of customer service experience;ORAssociates Degree, plus 2 years of supervisory experience and 1 year of customer service;ORBachelor's Degree plus 1 year of work experience
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced working environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build loyalty and strong relationships with both internal and external customers
• Proficient computer skills including Excel
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to work a flexible schedule (some weekends)
• Retail and/or fleet reservation related experience

The hourly starting salary for this position is $22.00 per hour. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
