Job Purpose

Develop and manage Morale & Engagement Programs that will enable the growth of associates at all levels based on department priorities or given objectives.

Key Accountabilities

Morale Leader

  • PDCA on department Morale KPI's to assure achievement or continuous improvement
  • Create, Develop & Maintain Morale BP Strategy
  • Manage Morale BP Themes to assure on-time completion and in/out achievement
  • Lead Development & Presentation of Departmental Morale Monthly Report to department and Div. Management
  • Organize and run department morale events (ex. Dept. lunches, retirement parties, etc.)
  • Other morale related activities as assigned by department

Involvement (HIP) Leader

  • Submit, Evaluates, Approve/Disapprove, Route and grade suggestions and ARP's
  • Guide / train associates on suggestion process, assist with getting needed materials and follow up on open suggestions, associate participation growth
  • Oversee NH Circles: assist associates with meetings, presentations and run off preparation
  • Track and report HIP activity and progress; communicate / presentations of plant tours
  • Assist in planning/organizing plant Engagement and HIP activities i.e., NH Circle Run offs, Involvement Celebrations, Honda Tours, Company Celebrations.

Administration

  • Manage Q Division communications, bulletins, etc.
  • Track training progress for Q Division and report results monthly.
  • Support office administration tasks as needed.

IT Advocate (Civic Rep)

  • Track PC hardware inventory, place ITSM requests, and be the main contact between NA AHM IT and assigned department(s) responsible for.

Environmental Leader

  • This role supports RO environmental when needed.
  • Conducts Q Division chemical training (onboarding, approval) and audit support.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years applicable experience

Experience

  • 0-4 Years applicable experience based on education

Skills Desired

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Positive attitude and flexible to daily changes
  • Demonstrates strong verbal communication skills
  • Team oriented with good leadership skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, multitask
  • High energy with desire to excel
  • Self-motivated and self-managed
Working Conditions
  • Work will be a combination of office and meeting room activity
  • Lineside interaction with associates
  • Possible support required for second shift associates will mandate adjusted work schedule as needed
  • Overtime typical between 5~7 hours per week
  • Travel requirements are less than 5%
