Job Description: About the position Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for its Microprocessor Business Unit. This role is manages all aspects of the product life cycle and support of business development. The successful candidate will interact with customers and Microchip's field and technical teams to identify and define new product requirements. A solid understanding of semiconductor business, MPU technologies, market trends, competitive insights, and requirements is essential for this position. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing new product business cases, business plans, and positioning strategies to grow Microchip's MPU business. In addition to product development, the role involves executing new product introductions, which include pricing, forecasting & collateral development. The manager will also oversee product launches, ensuring effective positioning, customer engagement, sales and channel training, business development and the creation of press collateral in collaboration with the marketing communication team. Supporting the existing MPU portfolio and customer base is also a key responsibility, which includes securing customers through visits and enhancing web presence.
