SIGINT Instructor/Trainer

This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

A SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) Instructor/Trainer is a highly experienced professional responsible for providing advanced training and instruction on SIGINT methodologies, techniques, and equipment. They possess a deep understanding of SIGINT operations and technologies, and their role is to train and mentor junior instructors and trainees. They design and develop training programs, curricula, and instructional materials to ensure the effective transfer of knowledge and skills. The SIGINT Instructor/Trainer may also provide subject matter expertise and guidance in the development and evaluation of SIGINT equipment and capabilities. Their expertise and leadership contribute to the continuous improvement of SIGINT training programs and the proficiency of personnel in the field of intelligence gathering and analysis.

SIGINT Instructor/Trainer Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide instruction, instructional assistance, and appropriate scenario development support for intelligence personnel, teams, and units in support of SIGINT.

  • Develop and revise SIGINT TSPs and familiarization and sustainment training, including individual to collective training materials and scenarios.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

SIGINT Instructor/Trainer, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

  • Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence polygraph

  • Minimum 8 years of Army Military Intelligence experience and experience related to the SIGINT Instructor role with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a 35N, 352N; 3+ years tactical and 3+ years operational experience as an intelligence professional spanning MICO, BCT, DIV-Corps level echelons.

  • Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course (i.e., NGA College, NSA ADET, etc.).

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the SIGINT Instructor position.

  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.

  • Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.

  • Ability to work independently and with minimal oversight and direction.

  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.

  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.

  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.

  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
