Staffmark has partnered with a food distribution company in Carencro, LA, and we are seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to join their team. As a Warehouse Order Selector, you will select the groceries listed on a pick ticket then box them for shipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who values accuracy and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Pay rate: $13 - 15/hr. (Depending on experience) Schedule: 11pm - Finish, Monday to Friday (some Saturdays) Daily tasks include accurately selecting groceries indicated on job tickets, boxing orders, making sure the customer's name and rig number are noted on the order form, and verifying order quantity and any other pertinent information. Candidates could be working in either the freezer or dry sections of the warehouse. This position is mainly located in the freezer section. Could be required to help in other sections as requested by supervisors. One year of pick/pack experience is preferred.
