High Voltage Connector Engineer

  • Lead the development of assigned components or systems, ensuring compliance with Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Performance (QCDP) objectives.
  • Collect, analyze, and report HV connector performance requirements from customers to supply base to ensure the robust design, development, and validation of HV connector systems.
  • Prepare supplier consultation packages (Sourcing Packages).
  • Analyze supplier feedback and draft Technical Supplier Assessment (TSA).
  • Manage deliverables related to each project milestones.
  • Oversee component development to meet QCDP targets.
  • Co-develop with suppliers, including quality tracking (e.g., APQP).
  • Ensure technical feasibility, manufacturability, and design robustness.
  • Conduct DFMEA and support PFMEA execution.
  • Manage prototype deliveries at each project milestone.
  • Lead supplier interactions (technical reviews, purchasing meetings).
  • Ensure proper integration of components into their environment (engine/vehicle/platform).
  • Manage technical changes and related documentation.
  • Support assembly plants from pilot phase to launch.
  • Drive product and process validation plans (DV, PV).
  • Manage technical configuration and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to cost reduction and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participate in crisis management.
  • Contribute to the drafting of technical policies.


Scope of Responsibility:



  • Full responsibility for a family of complex components.
  • Draft specifications, ensure supplier compliance, manage design interfaces.
  • Lead design, validation, industrialization, and launch phases.
  • Functionally manage internal or external Engineering Designers.

Basic Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related degree field.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive engineering, mechanics, electronics, and functional safety.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Professional English (minimum B2 level) - able to lead meetings with international teams.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Working experience with DVP&R's.
  • 3 years of Engineering experience.
  • Automotive development experience with full life product lifecycle.
  • Automotive connector experience.
  • High voltage connector system design, validation, or issue resolution experience.
