Job Summary:
Supermicro is looking for an innovative and strategic GPU System Product Manager to drive the development and lifecycle management of cutting-edge GPU server platforms and AI infrastructure solutions. This role is perfect for a technology leader with a passion for AI, machine learning, high-performance computing (HPC), and GPU-accelerated workloads-someone who excels at bridging technology, business strategy, and customer success. As a Product Manager at Supermicro, you will leverage your technical expertise and communication skills to define product strategies, explore customer-centric solutions across key verticals, and deliver bold go-to-market plans for Supermicro's core product portfolio.

- Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for GPU server platforms and AI infrastructure, aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities in AI, ML, HPC, and cloud-native workloads.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with engineering, hardware design, software, and operations teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure successful product launches and customer adoption.
- Customer & Market Insights
- Engage with customers, partners, and industry experts to gather feedback and understand emerging needs in AI and GPU computing.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product positioning and differentiation.
- Product Development & Execution
- Translate customer and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Drive product development cycles, from concept through launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Manage product lifecycle, including feature enhancements, performance tuning, and end-of-life planning.
- Go-to-Market & Enablement
- Develop go-to-market strategies, including pricing, packaging, and messaging.
- Support sales enablement with product training, collateral, and technical documentation.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization
- Track product performance using KPIs and customer feedback to guide continuous improvement.
- Analyze usage data and operational metrics to identify areas for optimization and innovation.
- Innovation & Thought Leadership
- Stay current with advancements in GPU architectures, AI frameworks, and data center technologies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer briefings as a subject matter expert.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of product management expertise.
- Familiar with server architecture and system level architecture (including GPU, CPU, memory, motherboards, PCIe, NVMe, NIC, OS, BIOS, BMC). Knowledge in cluster architectures like AI and HPC is a plus.
- Project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage resources effectively.
- Demonstrated ability in technical presales or product marketing.
- Hands-on experience (Linux), configuring servers, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Linux Shell, C/C++) is strongly desirable.
- Experience in developing server products (Hardware, Firmware or Software) is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills with storytelling abilities that drive customer engagement, adoption, and market growth.
- Ability to build and demonstrate proof-of-concept that meets or exceeds customer business needs.
Salary Range
$93,000 - $150,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
