Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst/Business Systems Analyst for a contract to hire role with our client in the financial industry in Minneapolis, MN. This role is hybrid, 4 days in office per week. Summary We're seeking a Business Systems Analyst with sharp technical skills and a passion for bridging the gap between data, systems, and user-facing interfaces. The Client is standing up a new team, and we are looking for 2 BA/BSA's to join this team. Work will be to bring credit card applications, processing, and management to WMO clients. Developers will be in Montreal, BA's and Product Owners will be in MPLS. Must Have: Role 1: Front End/UI: This can be a more traditional BA skill set, but will need the following: Medium SQL API knowledge (ability to read) Role 2: Services Layer BSA skillset Medium to high SQL Medium API exposure (preferably with experience in Postman) Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and workflows Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical documentation Write and optimize Intermediate to Advanced SQL queries to support data analysis and system integrations Read and interpret APIs to support connectivity and data exchange between systems Work alongside Service Layer engineers AND/OR Front End developers to ensure seamless end-to-end solutions Assist in system testing, troubleshooting, and process improvements Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role Solid experience in SQL querying (Intermediate to Advanced level) Ability to read and interpret APIs; Postman experience preferred Proven track record of working with Service Layers or Front End engineering teams Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and documentation skills Comfortable navigating dynamic environments and collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders Previous Banking experience is highly preferred Compensation: Hourly W2 Pay: $70.00-$80.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
