GI Marketing Manager - Associated Products

This position will play a critical role in accelerating profitable Associated Products (AP) sales growth within the General Industrial Division in USCA. The successful candidate will partner with division marketing, territory sales, tech reps, and our team of regional blending facilities to develop and execute customer-focused associated products and programs.


  • Lead the AP go-to market strategy and marketing plan process for the General Industrial Division.

  • Partner with the General Industrial division's sales and marketing teams to integrate associated products into division key initiatives and drive profitable sales growth within target segments and customers.

  • Collaborate with AP Procurement team on new product lines, product line extensions, field testing, line trials, launch kits, product presentations, and product proformas.

  • Develop the annual promotional strategy and targeted sales campaigns.

  • Develop new and ongoing marketing activities to grow share of wallet- lead generation, sales enablement tools, VOC research/surveys, rep, facility, and customer training, facility events, database marketing campaigns, and sales tracking.

  • Work with the Merch Control team to ensure all product and promotional launches receive proforma approval.

  • Work with vendors to develop co-branded marketing campaign sales drivers.

  • Provide competitive intelligence and positioning guidance to the division marketing and sales teams.

  • Assist Marketing Communications with the strategy for internal and external communications and collateral development.

  • Coordination with AP procurement team to leverage purchasing power and obtain the optimal product mix for our customers in order to increase sales and profitability.

  • Lead strategy for Marketplace development and execution at the annual sales meeting and vendor awards luncheon.


FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • High school diploma

Preferred:

  • 4-year degree related to Business, Sales, Marketing or Management
  • Master's degree

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Demonstrated success in creating and launching marketing and promotional programs
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Proficient in using data for decision making and report generation
  • Presenting in front of groups of all audience levels

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Sherwin-Williams systems and processes including Microstrategy etc.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Software Applications
  • Experience with Marketo, Pitch, and Learn

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Microsoft products including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft Copilot experience (AI)
