Hourly Pay Range:

$46.79 - $72.52 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do:

  • Oversee all aspects of project management for the division of Anesthesia Pain Medicine innovation portfolio, including setting deadlines, monitoring progress, and preparing status reports for leadership and teams
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and logistical support for innovation-related events and initiatives ensuring alignment with organizational and donor goals such as:
    • Swedish Expansion - assist with the design, buildout, and operationalizing of a new Integrated Pain Center procedure suite on the Swedish hospital campus
    • Annual Pain Congress - plan and execute an annual meeting focused on the advancement of pain care; white paper written after the proceedings
    • Pain Registry - developing a data registry in collaboration with a third-party vendor with the goal of improving patient care and leveraging digital twinning examples for success
    • Scholar's Program - partner with clinical leadership to develop and market a first-class scholar's experience, often recognized as a post-fellowship opportunity for clinicians
    • Innovation - continued pursuit and development of innovative technologies and workflows used to improve patient care and decrease provider burnout
    • Research - work together with the Department Research team to expand on the pioneering and groundbreaking clinical offerings
    • Community Health Workers - collaborate with Endeavor Health's community health worker network to raise awareness and address community needs and knowledge regarding pain care and available resources
  • Identify critical paths and manage risks to ensure projects remain on target, escalating issues as necessary to the Director of Anesthesia Operations
  • Develop a deep understanding of internal customer (clinical staff, researchers, patients) needs to support the advancement and implementation of innovative healthcare solutions
  • Collaborate with Research, IT, Planning, Marketing, Operations, Patient Experience, Finance, and other departments to define project requirements, resource allocation, and gather feedback to drive innovation projects forward
  • Track and report on key performance indicators such as financial metrics, adoption rates, usage, and patient satisfaction to evaluate impact and identify improvement opportunities
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages interdisciplinary teamwork and innovation aligned with healthcare best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).

The Innovation Program Manager plays a critical role in advancing healthcare innovation by managing key initiatives within the Anesthesia Pain Medicine Division. This position oversees the innovation project portfolio, facilitates cross-departmental collaboration, and drives engagement efforts to improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. The Program Manager, in coordination with other stakeholders, will develop educational programs, craft compelling narratives, manage innovation challenges, and provide data-driven insights to Anesthesia leadership, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and creative problem-solving.
