Primary Responsibilities:



  • Upon the order of a qualified physician, the Radiology Supervisor II will utilize equipment that produces ionizing radiation and/or other energies used in medical imaging to obtain medical imaging studies for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC
  • Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic
  • The Radiology Supervisor II will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS), Patient Archiving System (PACS) as well as computerized time keeping and ordering systems
  • Duties include the supervision of greater than 15 technical and clerical staff members in multiple locations and/or multiple modalities

Required Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology. Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT (R)
  • CMRT- Texas Dept. of Health
  • Senior technologist with a minimum of 5+ years technical experience to include regulatory and quality control responsibilities
  • Ability to use computer keyboard and basic programs to generate dept. reports. Ability grasp elements of image acquisition in multiple modalities
  • Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Documented evidence of leadership abilities



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor in Healthcare sciences, business or human resources
  • Certification in additional imaging modalities
  • PACS and RIS experience
  • Word or Excel experience



Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
