DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Custodial Worker 1, you will provide essential custodial support for the Columbia County Roadside Rest building and the surrounding area. Your primary focus will be maintaining a clean and safe environment, which involves regular cleaning and minor maintenance tasks for the buildings and grounds. Specific duties will include mopping, scrubbing, polishing, dusting, and cleaning the lavatories. Outdoor maintenance tasks may entail grass cutting, hedge trimming, snow shoveling, and keeping the premises in overall orderly condition. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Sunday - Thursday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Work Location: Columbia County Roadside Rest, Interstate 80, sites 37 and 38, mile marker 246 Westbound, Mifflin Township, Mifflinville.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $35,306.00 (before taxes).
