Job Description We're hiring Entry-Level General Labor Field Technicians to support the construction and installation of fiber infrastructure for large-scale commercial projects. This is a hands-on opportunity to break into the telecommunications industry, with full training provided. What You'll Do * Assist with fiber drops, conduit installation, and fiber blowing * Pull and terminate fiber and copper cabling * Learn to splice fiber, follow color codes, and build splice matrices * Install cable trays, pathways, and server racks * Support trenching and general labor tasks to prep job sites * Follow blueprints and assist lead technicians with infrastructure builds * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment What You Bring * Experience with hand tools and basic construction tasks * Ability to follow technical drawings and blueprints * Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions * Strong work ethic, punctuality, and team-oriented mindset * High school diploma or equivalent Nice to Have * Previous experience in telecom, construction, or low-voltage cabling * Familiarity with underground cable drops, temp drops, and fiber termination * Interest in growing into roles like OSP Field Technician Why Apply? * Get trained in a high-demand trade with long-term career potential * Work on major infrastructure projects supporting data centers * Opportunity to grow into specialized fiber or network technician roles * Competitive pay with overtime potential (5x10s, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, with Saturday availability) * Be part of a supportive team environment with clear advancement paths Work Environment & Requirements * 100% outdoor construction site work * Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., work at heights, and in confined spaces * Steel-toe boots required; polo shirt with sleeves (no cut-offs) * Must be punctual, presentable, and ready to work daily * Adherence to all safety regulations is mandatory Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
