Responsibilities:
With guidance from the director and in collaboration with the Analytics and Automation team, you will:

Develop and maintain tables and schemas in the data warehouse according to defined data models -
Build, optimize, and operate end-to-end ETL workflows (ingest, transform, load) on Linux servers using cron scheduling and shell or Python scripting -
Lead the data QA process: define and execute profiling, validation, reconciliation, and testing procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrity -
Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and implement automated alerts and recovery mechanisms -
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions -
Partner with other team members to build, deploy, and maintain Tableau and/or Looker dashboards and reports -
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in SQL queries, ETL code, and data models -
Document ETL workflows, data quality checks, server configurations, and operational runbooks
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Data Infrastructure Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus -
At least 3 years hands-on experience designing and building ETL pipelines -
Expert-level SQL skills (complex querying, optimization, performance tuning) -
Proficiency in a scripting language for ETL orchestration (Python, Bash, etc.) -
Hands-on experience with data warehouse design and table/schema creation (Vertica preferred) -
Solid understanding of data modeling for both OLTP and OLAP systems -
Experience with data quality assurance processes (profiling, validation, reconciliation, QA testing) -
Strong Linux proficiency (shell scripting, cron job scheduling, log monitoring, process management) -
Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with exceptional attention to detail -
Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work quickly under pressure -
Outstanding time management, organizational skills, and documentation practices -
Clear verbal and written communication, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, IAM) -
Prior experience with business intelligence and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker) -
Experience in big data environments -
Experience working in a sales-driven or highly matrixed organization
Compensation range: $110,000 - $130,000 per year
Bonus Eligible:
This position is also eligible for a discretionary company bonus, based upon business results.
