The Pharmacy Technician Trainee successfully completes didactic, simulation, and experiential components of the Johns Hopkins Health System (JHHS) pharmacy technician training program within predefined duration. Pharmacy technician trainee must meet a minimum of 400 credit hours completion requirements of the program per ASHP/ACPE standards. Graduates of the of the Pharmacy Technician Training Program will successfully obtain their Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration and work as a pharmacy technician at the Johns Hopkins Care at Home Community Pharmacies for a minimum of 1 year. Pharmacy technician trainee is also required to obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of completion of training program. Salary Range: Minimum $17.50/hour - Maximum $17.50/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
