As a Security Professional - Access Control - Unarmed in Catawba, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves interacting with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining clear communication at all times. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Assist with visitor management, including logging arrivals and departures and issuing visitor badges as required.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• South Carolina Security Professional Guard Card preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
