Mid Systems Engineer - 1254

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Mid Systems Engineer will be an integral part of our development team, analyzing, designing, and testing system-level requirements for military simulations. Works to establish requirements, creating/enhancing simulation designs, system level testing and planning/executing acceptance activities using defined engineering processes.

Essential Job Functions/Duties

Works with minimum guidance to support design and develop simulation subsystems:

• Review and analyze government furnished information (GFI)
• Develop, implement and maintain system level requirements
• Document, track and support preliminary and detailed design tasking
• Coordinate resolution of code issues
• Perform government developmental and acceptance testing events

Desired Skills

• Experience with software and/or training development processes
• Knowledge of AGILE development
• Experience with development in high fidelity game engines (Unity Preferred)
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience in a task management and issue tracking system

Required Education/Certifications

Bachelor's degree in related field or other relevant experience.
4-7 years of experience of systems design and/or engineering.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in Modeling & Simulation, Instructional Design, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Engineering Management, Computer Science or other relevant degrees.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Candidate must be capable of obtaining and maintaining US Department of Defense secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required

Work Environment

This position is located in the Orlando office and is not a remote or work from home position.
