Purpose of the Role:
As a Field Change Management PCM at Worley, you will play a strategic role in aligning project performance with the broader objectives of our sustainability-focused business. This role serves as both a key technical leader and a trusted partner to project and organizational leadership, ensuring the successful planning, execution, and monitoring of complex project portfolios. You will guide teams through effective cost and schedule management practices and foster data-driven decision-making to drive value and deliver sustainable change for our global customers.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of project controls strategies including planning, cost estimation, scheduling, performance tracking, forecasting, and reporting.



  • Oversee the integration of cost and schedule data with enterprise systems to ensure accurate and timely visibility across project and business functions.



  • Champion the use of data-centric and earned value methodologies to evaluate project performance and support proactive risk mitigation and opportunity realization.



  • Establish, maintain, and monitor work breakdown structures and control accounts, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements, project objectives, and sustainability goals.



  • Identify and manage scope changes, assessing their potential impact on cost and schedule while ensuring transparent communication with internal and external stakeholders.



  • Provide clear and actionable insights through robust reporting tools and dashboards tailored for senior management and project teams.



  • Develop tactical plans to resolve complex issues and lead change management initiatives that enhance project execution across multiple disciplines.



  • Mentor and guide project controls professionals by fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.



  • Influence cross-functional decision-making processes and support strategic planning activities within the business unit.



  • Actively contribute to the development of systems, tools, and processes that enable sustainable project delivery and operational excellence.




Qualifications / Skill Set:




  • University degree or equivalent in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related discipline.



  • Proven experience in project controls leadership roles, ideally within the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.



  • Demonstrated expertise in cost engineering, planning and scheduling, earned value analysis, and project performance management.



  • Deep understanding of integrated project controls systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools.



  • Strong ability to interpret project data, influence outcomes, and communicate complex ideas effectively to senior-level stakeholders.



  • Proficiency in driving cross-functional alignment and change management initiatives in support of business transformation.



  • Experience managing diverse teams and mentoring professionals across disciplines and geographies.



  • Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and manage multiple project priorities while maintaining alignment with broader organizational goals.



  • Commitment to delivering sustainable solutions, with a strategic mindset aligned to Worley's purpose of creating a more sustainable world.



  • Familiarity with governance frameworks and project control standards that support long-term asset performance and lifecycle management.
