Job Description:
JOB TITLE: Associate - DB8606724 DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Associate in Cary, NC to automate and maintain applications with multiple, diverse and sometimes geographically distributed teams, perform task automation to meet business and technical requirements, and maintain the application in production in collaboration with other teams. Requires a Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electrical Systems, or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience developing models to uncover underlying trends, risks, and threats for financial sector technology and tools; developing threat and vulnerability monitoring jobs for security software applications utilizing Splunk SPL, Tanium QL, MSAzure KQL, Oracle SQL, Python, Powershell, Bash shell scripting, Google Cloud Tools/Languages (gcloud, gsutil, bq, and kubectl), and YAML; using statistical methods, including Regression Analysis, Linear Regression, and Logistic Regression, machine learning techniques, including decision trees, support vector machines, and anomaly detection, and Statistical Process Control and simulation models, including Monte Carlo to predict incident trends; identifying patterns and trends in data from monitoring tools, including Geneos to support Root Cause Analysis; developing security monitoring automation and visualizations using Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud to reduce manual toil and improve event/data visibility; creating Ansible automation via playbooks and building runbooks; setting up monitoring for cloud security monitoring applications; creating Critical Incidence Response workflows to identify and remediate issues with application/infrastructure functionality; and generating reports of security data using Tanium query language. Salary range: $95,940.00 - $140,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
