Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator serves as a key member of our marketing team, supporting comprehensive marketing initiatives while taking ownership of critical operational functions including social media management, content creation, event coordination, digital asset management, and the oversight of CRM systems and project data tracking tools. This role collaborates closely with business development, preconstruction, and leadership teams to enhance our brand presence, streamline marketing operations, and support pursuit efforts in the AEC industry. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and versatile marketing professional who either brings AEC industry experience or demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for the construction industry. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly transition between strategic content development and detailed project coordination.

Responsibilities

* Own and execute comprehensive social media calendar across all company platform (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube)

* Write compelling, industry-relevant content that showcases company projects, culture, and construction expertise

* Create, curate, and schedule engaging posts that resonate with target audiences

* Monitor social media performance, engagement metrics, and industry trends

* Develop and maintain brand voice consistency across all digital channels

* Collaborate with project teams to capture and share compelling project stories and technical achievements

* Plan, coordinate, and manage photo and video shoots for projects, events, and marketing initiatives with field teams

* Work with photographers, videographers, and other creative vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables

* Organize and maintain comprehensive digital asset libraries for easy access and usage

* Ensure all visual content aligns with brand standards and quality expectations

* Partner with business development team to plan and execute tradeshow participation and industry events

* Coordinate and draft award submissions, ensuring compliance with all requirements and deadlines

* Manage event logistics, materials, and follow-up activities

* Support networking events, client entertainment, and company-sponsored activities

* Manage company swag store, including inventory tracking, vendor relationships, and order fulfillment

* Support Marketing Proposal Manager with Digital Asset Management (DAM) system maintenance and organization

* Conduct industry research and competitive analysis to support strategic marketing initiatives

* Assist with bid and proposal preparation, including asset gathering and formatting

* Handle various administrative tasks that support overall marketing effectiveness

* Write and develop high-quality marketing content including project descriptions, case studies, and company narratives

* Craft compelling copy for proposals, qualifications packages, and client communications

* Maintain and update marketing collateral, templates, and branded materials with consistent, professional messaging

* Create engaging written content for brochures, newsletters, website updates, and presentation materials

* Translate complex construction and engineering concepts into accessible, compelling marketing language

* Ensure all written materials comply with brand standards and client requirements

* Track and organize marketing assets, photos, and content libraries

* Work closely with project teams to gather content and project information

* Coordinate with executives and business development team on strategic initiatives

* Support interview preparation by assembling visuals, graphics, and presentation materials

* Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field

* 2-3 years of marketing experience with demonstrated excellence in writing and content creation

* Proficiency in the following software programs: Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel Outlook, Social Media Platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), Sprout Social, Mail Chimp

* Exceptional writing and grammar skills; expertise in generating compelling narratives that clearly and concisely convey complex technical content, social media posts, or internal communications

* Proven experience in AEC Industries or demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for learning about the construction industry

* Familiarity with proposal development processes and RFP requirements in the AEC industry

* Experience managing social media platforms and developing content calendars

* Strong project coordination and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities

* Ability to translate technical concepts into engaging, accessible content for diverse audiences

* Understanding of construction processes, building systems, and project delivery methods

* Previous trade show or event management experience, particularly AEC-focused events

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under deadline pressure

* Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to coordinate with diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

* One year of experience in the construction, engineering, or architectural industry

* Background in technical writing, journalism, or content marketing with published work samples.

* Photography/videography skills or experience managing creative productions

* Proficiency in the following software programs: Salesforce, Asset Management Software's and CRM Databases

Pay Range: $62,000 - $68,000. The base salary range for this position as of posting is Richard's good faith estimate of the possible compensation for this role. The range for this role takes into account the factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
