Technical Project Manager

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support a major national laboratory. Projects are a set of related activities associated with Line-Item Projects Project Controls program and candidate must have the ability to produce specific products or provide services to meet customer's requirements.

Manages and ensures the timely completion of discrete technical or operational projects
• Establishes technical requirements for the project
• Defines project deliverables, budgets, and schedules
• Oversees the project team in the planning, tracking, and execution of the project from initiation to completion.
• Develop or maintain processes to meet specific programmatic needs and produce the work products defined by the hiring manager.
• Responsible for cost analysis/control and planning and scheduling activities for projects or programs with significant non-routine requirements or for discipline/projects/programs/proposal cost and planning activities which require a high degree of technical skilled experience.
• Identify, analyze, and provide innovative solutions to cost and schedule guidance to projects and programs.
• Ensures work is completed as scheduled.
• Identification of cost trends for management attention.

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable.
• U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q clearance.
