Responsibilities
The ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for:
- Function as the subject matter expert in ServiceNow system applications focusing on ITSM, ITAM, ITOM. Stay updated with the latest features and modules, best practices, and industry trends and make recommendations to the business.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, scripts, and configurations to meet business requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain workflows, business rules, client/server scripts, UI policies, and ACLs.
- Create, maintain, and enhance Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, Self-Service Portals, single sign-on (SSO) capability, and integrations.
- Integrate AI-driven features into ITSM and CMDB processes to improve automation and decision-making.
- Create, maintain, and enhance team Dashboards and reporting, including scheduled reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Coordinate regular system maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and other administrators to ensure effective use of the ServiceNow platform.
- Monitor ServiceNow health, usage, and performance; proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Provide technical support and administration for the ServiceNow platform, ensuring its optimal performance and availability.
- Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests related to ServiceNow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow administration and development.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, CMDB/CSDM architecture and best practices.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities within ServiceNow (e.g., Agents, Predictive Intelligence).
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow scripting.
- Experience with additional ServiceNow modules such as ITAM, ITOM and GRC
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred or must obtain within the first 90 days.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Work Environment
- Work may be performed in a hybrid office/remote environment.
- Able to work and operate from a Meritage Homes division, remote home office, and/or corporate office.
- Able to sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; normal manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination; lift and move objects weighing up to 25 lbs.; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication; use of office equipment, including computer, telephone, etc.
