The Group Benefit Integration Specialist is responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining data integrations that support employee benefits administration. This role ensures seamless communication between internal systems, external vendors, carriers, payroll providers, and clients by creating, monitoring, and troubleshooting data files and feeds. The ideal candidate possesses both technical expertise and a deep understanding of employee benefits processes.

- Group Benefit Integration Specialist II: $59,000 to $63,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Coordinate and manage the implementation of benefit data file feeds (EDI, API, flat file, etc.) between the benefits administration platform and insurance carriers, payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and other third-party vendors.
- Analyze carrier and vendor specifications to map and configure data feeds according to required formats, frequencies, and transmission protocols.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendor partners to gather requirements and ensure accurate file setup.
- Perform end-to-end testing of file feeds to validate data accuracy, identify issues, and ensure successful integrations.
- Monitor ongoing data feeds to ensure timely delivery, resolve transmission errors, and maintain data integrity.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for file-related issues, working with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Maintain thorough documentation of file setup, configuration details, error resolution processes, and change management.
- Stay current with industry standards (HIPAA, EDI 834, COBRA, ACA reporting, etc.) and ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Support special projects related to system migrations, process improvements, and automation initiatives.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 6 months plus of experience in benefits administration, HR technology, or data integration.
- Familiarity with EDI formats, especially 834 Benefit Enrollment files, as well as file mapping and transformation processes.
- Working knowledge of group health, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, and FSA/HSA plans.
- Experience with benefits administration platforms (such as bswift, enavigator is highly preferred.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
