The Ideal Candidate The Senior Auditor is responsible for performing SOX, Financial, Operational and Compliance audits for the Company. How You Will Make an Impact SOX Sontrols testing and documentation as assigned Communicate with control owners to support controls assessments as necessary Assist in development of audit programs and other planning documents for assigned projects. Prepare detailed workpapers in accordance with established audit programs for assigned projects. Assist in developing effective, practical recommendations for concerns noted during audits and other projects. Assist in mentoring and training staff auditors and interns, as well as reviewing their workpapers. Very light travel, 2-3 times per year Other departmental or special projects as needed Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have Bachelor's degree in accounting CPA, CIA and/or CISA designation preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills High achiever and quick learner who enjoys detailed assignments and an independent work environment Minimum of 2 years' experience in public accounting or corporate internal audit environment. Significant exposure to retail accounting, information systems and Sarbanes-Oxley strongly preferred.
