Join us!An organizational clinician responsible to lead the charge for all levels of care (Residential, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing) and be an ambassador to our employees to ensure clinical standards are met. Foresees advancements in medical education and technology and prepares the organization. Ensures robust clinical networking with physicians, hospitals, providers, therapy services, etc.

Responsible for strong clinical outcomes and regulatory compliance across the enterprise.

Overall operational oversight of healthcare operations team (programming, sales, clinical, administration).

This is a Chicago based position.

Lead the charge for all levels of care (Residential, Assisted Living, and Skilled Nursing) and be an ambassador to our employees to ensure clinical standards are met. Foresees advancements in medical education and technology and prepares the organization.

Manage all quality initiatives and programs to include residential living clinics and residential living resident incidents (i.e. emergency response protocol and training).

Enhance infection control standards and overall nursing education.

Create focus on Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) value-based service to increase accountability on quality outcomes which will impact reimbursement and referrals by hospitals, ACOs and other networks.

Network with gerontologists and other specialists to provide clinical guidance in our systems and processes and as situations occur (i.e. COVID-19). Ensures robust clinical networking with physicians, hospitals, providers, therapy services, etc.

Determine nurse leader required certifications (i.e. American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)) to invest and grow in people, improve outcomes, competitive advantage, ability to manage higher acuity, better trained staff to minimize incidents and claims.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

Required Degree: Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Preferred Degree: Master's degree in Nursing

Certificate(s):

  • American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is a plus
  • Infection Prevention and Control (IPCO) training

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Nurse.
  • Minimum of 8 years management / supervisory experience.
  • Experience mentoring, motivating, and developing staff. Experience as a manager of people.
  • Experience understanding clinical operations with well-developed clinical operations knowledge and outcomes.
  • For-profit business experience is a plus.
  • Experience in a multi-site organization required.
  • Experience in Gerontology / Skilled Nursing is required.
  • Experience building relationships in a matrix organization is a plus.
  • Experience with infection control best practices and commitment to infection control.

  • Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as ability to work with dashboards, spreadsheets, data manipulation, and medical record navigation.
  • Effective presentation skills.

PHYSICAL AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The position requires mobility to get around all areas of the campus. The physical ability to assist residents with wheelchairs, walkers or similar objects is beneficial. May be exposed to unpleasant conditions and is at risk of exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious material.
  • Travel requirements up to 50%.

Compensation Pay Range:

$209,000.00 - $361,700.00

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $209,000.00 - $361,700.00. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
