SUMMARY
The Clinical Dietitian Associate develops the skills to provide comprehensive, safe, and ethical medical nutrition therapy to patients, families, and other clients in inpatient or outpatient settings.

Shift details: M-F with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. Work hours of 8:30am-5pm. This role is supporting our Pediatric Mental Health Institute and Eating Disorder Program, with coverage including inpatient acute care and nutrition clinic.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

6. Proactively connects with Clinical Nutrition team members and other disciplines in the organization to identify Clinical Nutrition-related issues, potential solutions, and opportunities for quality and process improvement.
7. Ensures compliance with established regulatory standards and healthcare regulatory requirements by identifying and following policies and procedures for the nutritional care provided.
8. Accurately documents patient care and tracks time/activities for use with benchmarking, billing, and/or productivity in accordance with department standards.
9. Financial Responsibility: Assists in achieving departmental financial budget targets.
SCOPE AND LEVEL
Guidelines: Trains in the field and assists higher level personnel to acquire learning through practical experience.
Complexity: Performs routine and/or basic tasks common to the field. Procedures, methods, and techniques to be used are well established with options to be considered well defined. Tools, work aids, and materials to be used are specified.
Decision Making: Duties assigned are primarily routine, repetitive, and restricted in intricacy with little or no discretion in how they are carried out.
Communications: Contacts with team members, clients or the public where factual information relative to the organization or its functions are received, relayed, or a service rendered according to established procedures or instructions.
Supervision Received: Under close supervision, the employee receives training to develop skills and abilities in a specific line of work or general occupational area. Work product is subject to close, continuous inspection.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION - Bachelor's Degree
LICENSURES - Registered Dietitians (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) adhering to the Commission of Dietetic Registration guidelines.
Salary Information
Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $54,790.77 to $82,186.16
