RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assembly of test and data acquisition systems, test fixtures, cables, harnesses, and PCB assemblies
* Logical layout and design of electrical shelfs / panels
* Provide technical assistance and collaborate with engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve problems before, during and after assembly
* Modify prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct defects
* Test completed assemblies to ensure proper operation
* Obtain and/or maintain the following IPC certifications: J-STD-001 specialist, IPC-A-610 specialist, and IPC-A-620 specialist
* Follow and maintain company documentation standards
* Maintain and improve company quality processes
* Maintain inventory and maintenance of company tools
* Assure a clean and safe work environment
* Promote company goals and encourage continuous improvement through participation, teamwork and quality

REQUIREMENTS
* High School Diploma / GED
* 7+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
* 7+ years in systems build/implementation per engineering drawings, schematics, or wire diagrams
* Ability to read blueprints and drawings
* Strong electrical assembly background
* Soldering background, assembly and crimping
* J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 & IPC-A-620 certification
* SolidWorks
* Detail oriented and organized
* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and ability to perform point-to-point wiring
* Ability to lead a team producing high-quality engineered assemblies and products
* Due to ITAR restrictions, candidates must be citizens, permanent residents, or have asylee/refugee status in the United States
